This is where we call home. It is less than 20 min from the outskirts of San Antonio and it embraces the best of two worlds: city and Hill Country living. Boerne is close enough to the major shopping centers of La Cantera and The Rim for those who loves to shop and for the fun-loving crowd, Fiesta Texas and Sea World are just a short distant away. For those who love the small town feel, Boerne is the place. Here it’s easy to forget about the hustle and bustle of the city here, but at the same time – it has all the amenities you need. Boerne offers easy travel to many surrounding Hill Country towns (Fredericksburg, Comfort, Kerrville, etc.) with beautiful scenery along the way. Families who want to stay grounded in the country but keep the perks of the city will love Boerne’s location. Despite the area’s rapid growth, local Boerne-ites have stayed true to their small-town roots. Genuine friendliness, neighborly care, and an active involvement in community events are all hallmark traits of this beloved town. This sense of small-town charm can keep families grounded and comforted, even in the midst of change.

Downtown Boerne is the place to find good bargains and one-of-a-kind finds. There is a variety of shops to be found here; from local thrift stores, to boutique stores to specialty stores – you will find a wide variety and love exploring “downtown” at the same time.

Okay, so we live and work in Boerne, with that being said I don’t think there is a restaurant that we haven’t eaten at yet – and all are good, great even, but since we are narrowing it down to our top picks, it would be a shame to not mention a few of these…. Boerne Taco House, Mary's Tacos, Dodging Duck, Peggy's on The Green, The Dienger, and Bear Moon Bakery. On second thought, let's just go out ot lunch! We'll help you decide where to go and what to eat, we've tried it all!!

There are so many things to do in Boerne, here are a few of the locals favorites: hiking or biking a local trail, exploring the underground caverns, picnic at a local park, fishing at Boerne City Lake or attend a class/event at The Cibolo Nature Center. The options seem endless and every month there are Market Days or various festivals that happen around town.
